What did you do at Sheffield?

I started my PhD at the University of Sheffield in 2007 under the professorship of Prof David James. I had completed my undergraduate studies also at the University but in a different department so I knew that I thoroughly enjoyed the lifestyle that was offered by the city and that the University had a fantastic reputation for research. My PhD examined the production of industrially relevant antibodies by Chinese hamster ovary cells and the modulation of their N-glycosylation characteristics to improve downstream activity.
