What is your current position?
In 2011 I graduated from the University of East Anglia with a 2:1 in Biochemistry. During my degree I was successful in applying for a summer studentship funded by Nuffield Foundation studying proteins involved in electron transfer across cell membranes. I continued with this research for my third year project where my data was used for a publication in the Biochemical Journal, it also became clear to me that research was a career I wanted to pursue. I am currently studying for a PhD under Dr Robert Falconer in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and have been here for just under three years.
